While opening, this bottle of hot sauce made a bewildering sucking sound as the bottom spontaneously blew out like a roll of Pillsbury biscuits. Exciting! It was a nearly new bottle, stored in the fridge. Mysterious! Even with immediate and multiple washings, my foot tops reddened and smelled zesty for a day or two. Piquant!

Aside from this anomaly, if you can find it, Frank's Xtra Hot is a great step up from their original. Less is needed, so it doesn't turn food into a salt lick to get the appropriate Scoville count. Healthy!
